I like Kucinich, but realize he hasn't got a prayer of getting the nod. Too short, bad haircut with bad dye job. The only thing he's got going is that he would get us out of Iraq soonest. And that's almost enough to vote for him.

I was a little surprised when Biden wanted to send troops to Sudan. Me, I think we need to get our troops home, let them rest a while, get some therapy and training, before sending them off on new Crusades.

I hope Gore enters soon.

I care about a bunch of issues, but the war and universal health care top my list. So my gut sez Kucinich, but the brain sez Gore or Edwards.

He was against the war from the beginning. He wants us out of Iraq NOW. He supports public financing and universal health care. These are are all Democratic Party ideals -- at least they used to be until the predator class grabbed hold of the party in 1992.

10. Kucinich is the man!

He holds more values in common with me than any of the other candidates. I don't think he has enough general appeal to win the dem nom, but he sure is one hell of an American politician. Our country may not be ready to take the radical change of course that Kucinich offers yet, but another 4 - 12 years of corporatist presidents and who knows... I still have my fingers crossed for him.

Speaking more generally about the debate, something stood out to me about Edwards. The point when he looked at Obama and said "you were right from the beginning and I was wrong," probably showed the American people the one thing they wish chimpy would show... accountability. He was willing to admit that his vote for the IWR was wrong... something W would never admit. I just thought that one part of the debate was important not only for Edwards, but for all the Dem candidates as they are trying to show voters that we are the party of accountability.

18. IMO Edwards should not have brought up Clinton & Obama's

vote on the supplemental last night as he opened himself up to criticism for co-sponsoring and voting for the IWR.

Why give an opponent ammunition! That stood out to me.

While admitting a mistake is admirable, doing everything you can to avoid a mistake is even more noteworthy, especially when the mistake might lead to an invasion of another country.
