Cheney: The war on terror won't end for a long time

DOUGLAS -- The war on terror won't end for a long time, Vice President Dick Cheney told more than 100 students and staff of the American Legion's Wyoming Boys State on Sunday.

"The issues that are at stake here are enormous," Cheney said during a surprise visit to Boys State at the Wyoming State Fairgrounds.

"This is a struggle we're going to be involved in certainly as long as I'm alive and probably as long as you're alive, and we've got to get it right," he said.

1. He has done everything to insure the war will last for decades if not centuries
He must be so proud of his accomplishment, opening Pandora's box and unleashing the wrath of a determined people upon the rest of the world.

Boys State is supposed to teach young men about a democratic form of government, not about war mongering. Why did they let that asshole speak? Never mind, I know most of the reasons.

2. Not if he has anything to say about it!
And isn't it laughable that he could only turn out 100 people in WYOMING?

3. IT's comforting to the parents of those boys and the boys themselves I guess
to consider that there will still be a war for them to go off and die in when they are old enough too.

4. Not to be confused with the war in Iraq.
The war in Iraq has greatly deterred the fight against our real enemies. Cheney and Bush allowed Bin Laden to escape to Pakistan because US forces were on hold to invade Iraq. So Bush and Cheney let the Pakistanis "guard the border" during the ToraBora operation. What a miserable joke. They gave Bin Laden a free pass and he still walks the Earth to this day.

Chicken Cheney and AWOL Bush have disgraced this Nation with their blatant war profiteering and wastefulness. Cheney and his robber baron pals would love for war to continue indefinitely. They are not fighting in it but they are making boatloads of money.
