FoxNoise on Dem debate: An evening of finger pointing
Wow, that is certainly some Fair and Balanced shit there! And people wonder why many Dem candidates refuse to participate in a FoxNoise sponsored debate? (I love DK, but I hope he changes his mind on this issue.)

1. The debate did suck
1. it was not an actual debate by any stretch of the imagination

2. no one answered any questions directly

3. thank god for the hand raising, although it was sort of amusing to watch them all try to be the one to vote last

4. As much as I love Barak Obama, and as much as I support him, I wish he'd quit summarizing two opinions and then changing the subject to mindless platitudes. Frankly, I don't know why no one seems to notice that he constantly does this.

Hilary clearly won. Obama came off all statesmanlike. Dodd was okay. Richardson was slightly refreshing, but he should shut the fuck up about being a governor of a relatively dull and unimportant state. Mr Ears and that whackjob from the far north were embarrassing. Edwards seemed slimy. And whathisface merely seemed vague.

2. Hillary ruled
As much as I like to see an African American as president, I think Hillary sealed the deal for me. We vote for her and get Bill. What more can you ask for.

4. You vote for her and get a Republican President.
Why some don't get this blows my mind.

She'll be an excellent president. Who do you support? One of the spazzes or the ambulance chaser? No. Wait. You support the guy who's not even running...

10. I will vote for whichever dems wins the nomination. I would not however vote for
Hillary because I would get Bill too. Either she would make a good president or she would not, Bill is not running.

5. Was your post a 'blow by blow' Fox News Review of the Dem Debate?
It sure sounds like it could have been.

Debates have always been horseshit.

They are: an idiotic question followed by unrelated and utterly unambitious statements aimed at the absolute lowest common denominator of voter intelligence. Then we have the occasional finger pointing or mindless soundbite. Everyone congratulates the troops and talks about doing better for education and addressing the deficit (never the debt, by the way, just the deficit). Then it's over.

If you believe that this description of a typical US debate is in some way erroneous, feel free to correct my opinion.

But if you think that we were bad last night, wait for the Repukes. They'll be even worse.

Hilary and Obama. They will win. Then it's Dodd and Richardson for important jobs in the administration.

That's what I predict.

8. The election is still a year and a half away!
Enough already! I don't want to think about any of this stuff for at least 6 months!
