GOP chief: We need more terror attacks on US soil 'to appreciate' President Bush
GOP chief: We need more terror attacks on US soil 'to appreciate' President Bush 03 Jun 2007 The Republican Party of Arkansas, which was beaten decisively in last year's election, needs to dedicate itself to running next time on an anti-tax, pro-highway and pro-education agenda, its new chairman said... Milligan said he’s "150 percent" behind Bush on the war in Iraq. "At the end of the day, I believe fully the president (sic) is doing the right thing, and I think all we need is some attacks on American soil like we had on (Sept. 11, 2001), and the naysayers will come around very quickly to appreciate not only the commitment for President Bush, but the sacrifice that has been made by men and women to protect this country," Milligan said.

Since he's terrorizing citizens with that statement.

2. More attacks on American soil would only prove that Bush/GOP
ONCE AGAIN FAILED TO PROTECT AMERICA FROM TERRORISM.

Failed on 9/11 - Failed after Katrina - Failed on veteran's healthcare.

See the pattern?

4. We already had one big attack (9/11) and Bush sat and did nothing...
Edited on Mon Jun-04-07 12:48 PM by KansDem
I don't see why additional attacks would be necessary. Bush is a proven loser. I don't want to run the risk of Bush doing nothing again!

Uh, Mr. President. I don't know how many attacks on US soil are needed to make America appreciate you. Perhaps if you did something besides sitting on your butt doing nothing...?"

5. Doesn't say much for * if his own party
thinks he needs terrorist and acts of terror on Americans to be appreciated. You don't need smoke and mirrors if you are doing a good job Milligan.

6. I think we'd appreciate the incompetence that let the attacks happen
Duh.

So, how goes checking all those cargo containers? Have we reached the 5% mark yet?

And how can the Justice Department be hunting down all those terrorist groups when career bureaucrats, prosecuters, and law-enforcement officers are fleeing the partisan-political and incompetent-crony environment there because of the people that Bush has appointed?

9. And we need a really-bad depression so we can appreciate his economic policies, too.
Unfortunately, it may take a while for us to appreciate his environmental policies -- not until New York, Miami, Houston, LA, and so on are inundated.

11. To heck with Godwin's Law
I think the GOP is hoping something like this will cement their power. I bet they believe they will rule America for one thousand years after this:
