The government is powered by "the people". Corporations are powered by "the rich people". |
|
So does it seem too tin-foilish to think that * is trying to cripple our government and empower the corporations as much as he possibly can?
What does he have to lose--he knows he won't get impeached, so public opinion, and legality don't matter.
It's really starting to look like this extends to the military as well. At first we were scratching our heads wondering why * and Rumsfeld were being so cruel to our own military--shorting them equipment, extending their tours, feeding them Halliburton's shit, closing military bases, putting them in rat-infested hospital rooms.
If we have a government with no teeth; a broken military; judges, congressmen, the Pres & his staff, and the media owned by the corporations--what chance does America stand against Corporationland?

All any of the politicians care about is money for corporations and money from corporations. They own us whether they are located in China or the US. We got nothing.

2. your reasoning is a bit flawed, imo, because . . . |
|
the government today is most assuredly NOT powered by "the people" . . . the government today is powered by the corporations -- the same corporations powered by "the rich people" (see 2000 and 2004 outcomes) . . .
ergo, the government is also powered by the rich people, through their corporations . . . any notion that we, the people, have any REAL power in government is just a myth perpetuated to keep us in line . . .
