The REASON More troops are dying is because they were NOT trained, a Bush Legacy |
|
Of COURSE more troops are being killed daily, they are Moving TARGETS thanks to Bush pushing them into "war" with Little or NO TRAINING!
I was OUTRAGED when I heard that the "SURGE" (ESCALATION IS THE True term) troops were to be shipped so quickly as to NOT BE TRAINED.
Might as well have Targets silkscreened on their Uniforms, and THIS isn't a HIGH CRIME?
Then he has the NERVE to stand in the Rose Garden and exclaim that there will be MORE Deaths than USUAL?
THe man is INSANE, Incompetent and is LITERALLY Murdering our Brothers and Sisters. As a Veteran who was trained during Nam I find this beyond the PALE.
Why doesn't the MEDIA tell the damn TRUTH, these soldiers are SITTING DUCKS, and it's BUSH'S FAULT!

Unfortunately, I don't think we have even begun to see the worst of it. I read a piece on Asiatimes.com some months ago about the preparations being made for massive attacks on US troops and other "US interests" should Iran be attacked. It aint lookin' good brother Symbolman.

that COME BACK with Brain Injuries, if the death toll is higher now than ever, imagine what the INJURY rate is..
Then of course Bush is robbing the VA at the same time.
Fish in a Barrel, you said a mouthful.
I'm beginning to think we're ALL Fish in a Barrel to these guys.

for long term medical care for the thousands, I dare say hundreds of thousands that will come back with post traumatic stress disorder. They simply do not care for these servicemen.

6. Or any one else, for that matter. |

Witness: Katrina. The victims of respiratory disease from 9-11 clean up. Senior citizens on fixed incomes while the price of everything sky rockets. Children and others with no access to health care. Disintegrating educational system.
Hell, the list is endless.

I've worked in a VA, cared for 300 mental patients after Nam, and have had to use the VA myself when broke, and I can tell you that they will give you lip service all day long, but they DO NOT CARE for the troops.
I've had to wait a YEAR for an appointment, then drive three states over to meet for one. Imagine doing that with NO LEGS, NO CAR, or having LOst your mind.
A lot of it has to do with the FUNDING and Bush admin is screwing the troops to the wall on that count too.
I wouldn't treat a DOG the way they treat these troops.

I consider the Katina fiasco the measuring stick for the future of American citizens. The rest of the world has endured "it" for decades. Americans who fail to realize that Katrina/New Orleans was the "writing on the wall" for the rest of us are seriously deluded where the global elite are concerned. Welcome to third world living folks; it's on your doorstep now.

I would prefer for these guys to go to desert training first. Its a travesty that they are being fast-tracked to Iraq. But they are not being sent with 'little or no training.' They are being sent with less training than has been required.
Had this been an actual emergency, rather than a foolish invasion of another country, we'd sent those guys with even less training, and none of us would complain.

8. Were you in the MIlitary? |
|
I was, drafted during Nam, so I enlisted in the USAF.
I KNOW what little or NO training is, do you?
Dissent all you want, or call them Cannon Fodder, which is more like it, Cannon Fodder UNITS I believe the first Bush called them.
But don't say that they just got LESS than they needed. Many of them can't even get GUNS, my friend.

11. When he talked about there being MORE deaths than usual, |
|
I had to restrain myself from throwing a heavy object through the TV. Fuck him!!!! Bring the troops HOME, damnit!!!!
The troops haven't had adequate equipment since this deadly folly started, and now they are getting less and less training. Great. Just fucking great, George. Way to support the troops, you asswipe!
