1. Liberals don't use faulty logic |
|
By definition, one who uses faulty logic is a conservative.

|

8. I'm just defining the word |
|
If the GOP can manipulate language, why can't we?
The "liberal" position on any issue is always the logical one.

17. I don't know if I agree with that formulation |
|
Surely we'd like to be better them.
"If the GOP can steal elections, why can't we?"

18. Though Lord Knows I Don't Hide It Too Well, I Loathe Faulty Logic Regardless Of Its Source. |

I think it bothers me a bit more with Dems though, cause I've come to somewhat expect it from the right wing. I'm a bit disappointed though when I see it from our wing, since I expect better.

19. Both pretty much equally |
|
It seems endemic on both ends of the spectrum to me (though, in a fit of my own faulty logic, I'll admit that I mind fallacies which lean left less than those which lean right).
Whichever side it comes from, though - at least when it's egregiously bad - it's a sign of an adult who doesn't fully know how to think straight or argue effectively. Seeing that showing up in voters always depresses me, whether they're using said 'logic' in their voting or whether they're using it to justify their refusal to vote.
