Check out parade.com... 82% percent of their lilly white republican readers polled say I should NOT replace Rosie on "the view"!

I have never really been able to recover professionally from the star spangled banner fiasco, and it rightly scared me. I appreciate all my fans voting for me, though...but understand that I am someone who speaks about class in America, and that is the total taboo, and the one thing NOT ALLOWED. The thought of self righteous white middle class women unleashing their fury on me again is not something I would ever want to revisit. I like staying under the radar now, and podcasting here on rw...where I do not have to knuckle under to corporate sponsors.

the rich, having grown up from cultural mediocrity, have always tried to arrogate cultural quality to themselves because they can buy its outputs, that's what NYC is based on ("we're the capital of the world, we can buy anything" - uh uh). There are few exceptions. Cultural quality, by contrast, doesn't depend on wealth, and can be held, or not, by anyone regardless of their placement in the socioeconomic hierarchy. I am white, and uppity, but I am not rich white trash, and I have more solidarity, and more in common socioeconomically, with non-trash members of all demographic groups, than with them.

Decouple false rankings of human value based on group-derived/permitted socioeconomic status conditioned into us by upholders of the relativistic status quo from scales of true value based on ability to contribute to the common good.

Give me a break. Another victim of her own actions decides that it's ultimately not her fault that her career took a down turn after that incident.
When will people realize that actions will provoke reactions and sometimes those reactions don't always work in your favor?

Simply, people have the freedom to take certain actions. That freedom doesn't mean that others are not then allowed to take offense at those actions and respond accordingly.
