9. Beautiful - JFK images still pack a wallop! What a time that was - to view so

many years later (without cynicism) brings back the time of youthful 1960's idealism. Oh, to have that again - no longer "youthful", however, those days are long gone....sigh.

DU's BerniMcCoy did a photo essay last week and I chatted with him about doing a video. It was his idea to juxtapose Kennedy & Gore and what a great one it was.

When I began collecting the pictures, I was stunned to find all of the pics of Gore with kids. I found every single one of them to be so uplifting...he looked so genuine and all of the kids were laughing and smiling. Needless to say, I had a serious case of goosebumps throughout the process of putting this video together. Al Gore is a fine man and this country would be LUCKY to have him as president. His experience alone could help untangle the total mess the republicans have made of this country...but to have a caring, genuine person to go along with that experience...no wonder Berni compared him to Kennedy.

I'm so glad everyone likes it (even though it's a tad long) and thanks again for your comments.

He is indeed a man for ALL Americans...not just the Democratic party. I came so close to ending the video by saying "help us Obiwan Gore" but felt it might have been a little too silly considering the serious times we live in. :D
