Perfect defining moment of CNN Repuke debate. Rudy/Abortion/Lightning Superstition.
If anyone needed a good example of the intrinsic Dark Ages thinking that pervades those of Repuke ilk, then he/she need not look beyond the Rudy/Abortion/Lightning superstition bullsh*t.

Our country will forever fail to meet the potential envisioned by Franklin and Jefferson if we continue to regress to primitive sensibilities and idiocracy.

4. Rudy was giving his position on abortion and lightning kept on disrupting his mike.
Of course, this "delightful" tidbit has been picked up by the corporate whore media and the Freeper contingent are claiming its a divine sign of his being wrong on the issue.

5. Rudy stepped up to the plate to give his position on abortion and his mike cut from lightning probs.
What was funny, if not tragic, was the actions of Romney and McCain who both backed away from Rudy as if he were to be struck down by the "almighty."

Rudy was supporting his pro-choice position when lightning struck.

8. If God really were making a comment about the positions at the debate
All the candidates would have turned to pillars of salt. Just sayin.

10. Silly Repugs...
This is the 21st century, not the Middle Ages!

I did have to wonder for a sec if Leslie was secretly working the switch on Rudy's mic, since it might "look bad" to Wolfie's core audience if he verbally cut off someone during the Repug debate, the way he did with the Dems the other night. ;)

11. "Wolfie's core audience" = Israel & Neocons?
Forget not that Wolfie was a Jerusalem Post reporter in years past and has been chiming the "Let's Bomb Iran" bell for his Israeli masters for quite some time. I suspect he was pissed that Rudy's mike was having problems given Rudy's willingness to puff out his chest and be war-like for our Israeli overlords.
