On the day of his death, he appeared to his mother in a dream and said, “Mom, I’m coming home, the war is over for me”.

When will it end? When we stop it.

1. never, nobody cares
the Democrats and the Republicans have let the War on Drugs drag on for years, with thousands upon thousands of deaths to show, but little progress other than perpetuating the military/industrial/police state complex. Why would these bloodthirsty corporate killers care about some schmuck from Galveston dumb enough to believe their lies and take up arms for their ill-begotten conquests?

It's not like it hasn't been obvious to everyone that the U.S. Government is evil and duplicitous for oh, the past 40 years or so.

3. How awful for his mom.
She'll never forget that dream or how her son tried to let her know himself.

This war just makes me so mad. All these deaths, all this destruction, and for what? Well, we don't know anymore, do we, since they keep changing the damn excuse every two weeks.

6. OT, but my grandmother died on Memorial Day
I think about her every year.

And yes, God bless all those who've lost loved ones.

10. Isn't that amazing?
I think that "dream" or "visitation" will help her through her non ending grief. * is responsible for her son's death but he couldn't kill her son's soul.

9. I don't know what to say.

I have a 2 year old son and I'm expecting another son. These neocons want perpetual war. Will my sons have to sacrifice their lives and future too? This has to stop, I agree. For the kids of today and tomorrow.
