:P I vaguely remember reading some article about Bono, where he was talking about his bandmates' reactions to his activism/talking with world leaders, etc. I think it was the Edge who said something about how he wasn't sure how dealing with corrupt people could make the world a better place, and Bono said he'd have dinner with the Devil if it would help end poverty. I remember thinking that he's already done that...every time he met with Bush. :shrug:

Bono went out of his way to praise Bush, saying what a great guy he was, blah blah blah. All of which I would expect from someone whoring themselves, hoping to schmooze money out of a politician. But he went the extra step, blasting liberals for picking on poor ol' Bush; blasting liberals in general for being 'elitist'. Laudable as his intentions are, he isn't savvy enough to tell his friends from his enemies. Moreover, he doesn't know when he's just being used for a photo op.
