It seems like only days ago the MSM was touting a newer friendlier Bush. Bush was headed to Europe with a pro-greenhouse agenda that was sure to wow them. OR at least head off any real proposals on the subject. Bush would not brow beat the Europeans with his ever more unpopular war on terror. The bully Bush was no more, we were going to try to win back our allies...

Flash forward a few days and the headlines read as if it's 1982 again. Cold war talk with the Russians. Missile defense shields, assurance Russia would not attack Europe, assurance Russia would target European cities if Europe deploy American counter defenses... Boy I'm sure those Europeans are loving an attempt by Bush to re-invent the cold war. Yeah good luck on that pro-global warming farce thing now. Nothing wins over Europeans like threating WWIII on their continent. I can feel pro-American feeling rising as we speak...
