2. Did that make you feel good?
Calling the big bad man names?

Actually, he's a criminal, and we only play into a mis-Administration frame when we call him an "idiot":

5. I posted that a long time ago...we are playing into their game
Bush Is Not Incompetent
Document Actions

by George Lakoff, Sam Ferguson, Marc Ettlinger

Progressives have fallen into a trap. Emboldened by President Bush’s plummeting approval ratings, progressives increasingly point to Bush’s “failures” and label him and his administration as incompetent. Self-satisfying as this criticism may be, it misses the bigger point. Bush’s disasters — Katrina, the Iraq War, the budget deficit — are not so much a testament to his incompetence or a failure of execution. Rather, they are the natural, even inevitable result of his conservative governing philosophy. It is conservatism itself, carried out according to plan, that is at fault.

6. Criminals can't be idiots?
Just because Bush has everyone dancing around like chickens without heads doesn't make him a rocket scientist.

He's an idiot. It doesn't make me feel good, it's actually quite frightening that an idiot and his band of liars is running this country.

12. I'm not saying what he IS so much as what it benefits us to CALL him.

14. I'll even go you one further...
He can be incompetent at governing while being BRILLIANT at stealing, extorting, and exploiting. The point is, when we call him below-average, all the below-average people - 50% of the population, in fact - feel sorry for him. When we call him CRIMINAL, nobody feels sorry for him - not even other criminals.

Bush is an incompetent, lying idiot and a poor excuse for a human being, then this country is screwed. I suspect the people who are still supporting him are not all idiots either, some are, but not all. There are those who are thrilled he's doing their evil deeds. Bush was exposed as a fraud a long time ago. Brilliance is not the reason why he's still in office.

16. The point is, it does us no good to point to his intelligence level.
It does us a world of good to point to his morality level.

17. It does good to point to both as Scarborough and Olbermann aptly do.
If he's immoral he's dangerous. If he's an immoral idiot (lazy unwilling or unable to think through consequences), he's far more dangerous.

8. OK, he's an EVIL idiot.
No, he isn't acting like an idiot. No one is that good an actor. Anything devious has been handled by other neocons. Bush is just an evil idiot puppet.

4. George W. Bush is far from an idiot...he knows exactly what he's
doing...which makes it worse. He is a bright, lazy, greedy guy...he has the intellect but does not have the conscience or the discipline to do the right thing. He is a very bright serial killer.
