Fox News Journalists! Brave! Strong! And Nauseous!
Originally published Jun 07, 2007

Here's a real Katie Couric in training. Fox and Friends' (we've immediately left the realm of normalcy right there) Gretchen Carlson had to leave the set when Steve Dooooocy read a story of a logger who cut his own leg off after a tree fell on it. She went full-tilt nuts. The whole bit - covering her ears and singing the Twilight Zone theme. Complete crazy Bozo time.

1. If you've never watched Fox and Friends, I HIGHLY recommend it.
The Daily Show gets like 40% of their material direct from F&F.

No thought of the man's suffering, or his bravery. Only concerned that news of this horrible incident may somehow infect her.

4. Soooo, does she freak out when a news story like someone
being beheaded in Bagdad hits her desk? What about floating bodies in the flood waters after Katrina? I don't know anything about this F&F Show, and after watching that clip I don't want to either! Is this a series of puff pieces or do they CLAIM to do actually read news stories?

My God! I guess it's pretty obvious Dan Rather and Bob Schiefer weren't her role models, huh?
