The prep isn't as bad as I thought it would be. My husband and I are both getting it done in the morning. Did it take you very long to shake off the anesthesia? Our daughter is bringing us home and I figured we'd crash and then maybe go out later for a bite to eat! :D

to an 8 oz. drink and then follow with three more glasses of beverage -- then repeat about five hours later.
And how can one not get excited reading your description?!! :D

The one time I that procedure done, I was already in the hospital for another reason and they brought this plastic gallon jug full of clear dinosaur piss that I was to drink all of before morning (that was at about nine pm) or at least three quarters of. That meant staying up all night and spending a lot of time in the little room.
The stuff they gave me to make me comfortable for the procedure was a pretty good high, but it still did not stop the embarrassment when they finally removed the 'scope. One of the things they do is pump a little air into the colon to expand it and improve visibility. Now I have a very clear picture of what is meant when someone is accused of "whistling out his ass!" I kept expecting to hear the hounds barking.
Those lovely ladies' patting me on the shoulder and telling me that was perfectly normal and expected did little to relieve my mortification. It was funny, I suppose, but it's a lot funnier now, in retrospect.

I like the one where the guy and girl are in the car and she says, "God, I so need this break right now" and the guy says, "Why? We've been together all day!" And she gives him THE LOOK. I laugh every time.

24. I went to a Sonic for the first time ever a few months ago. |
|
Ugh! Everything, food and drink, tasted of detergent or some kind of wanked-out chemical. I did not enjoy the experience at all and felt kind of cheated, especially so since I ordered a chicken sandwich and they served me some kind of chicken skin chunks.
Don't care to repeat the experience. I live out in the country and rarely sample fast food so this made a lasting impression.

26. As a Sonic fan, I admit they do have good and bad days. |
|
I eat there at least once a week and their food is great 9 times out of 10. You probably just stopped by on a bad day. It only takes one pissed off teenager to ruin your whole meal.
Give it another shot someday, and get a coney or burger and o-rings or tots. They're really good! Probably the best quality fast food out there short of Chipotle.

each onion is sliced and seperated then breaded then cured and all this is done in the AM before lunch...
it is quite a process
