ROTFLMAO! Timing is everything...

The arrival of President George W Bush in Rome on the same day as the opening of the rendition trial ... is an unexpected further embarrassment for Prime Minister Romano Prodi

Why would that be an embarrassment to the Prime Minister?

The trial of which they speak.

Italy secrets threaten CIA trial

When the first criminal trial involving an "extraordinary rendition" of a terror suspect by the American CIA opens in Milan, there will be significant gaps in the court room.

Twenty-six Americans and six Italians, including the former head of Italy's military intelligence, are accused of kidnapping a Muslim cleric in broad daylight in the centre of Milan four years ago and transporting him against his will to Egypt, where he was allegedly tortured.

But the Americans will all be tried in absentia, as Washington authorities have refused to co-operate with Italian investigators.

The question now is: Will shrub change his skedul?

3. I don't believe that anything is by chance these days, I am sure his handlers
know what was occurring the same time they planned to visit, interesting though.

...I'm afraid dogs and stray cats will be arrested and many pigeons jailed for shrieking too loud. Two nightingales were jailed for allegedly working on something foul. Poetry and beauty will be detained until Sunday, in case they might ruin the event.

Here's Bush's agenda in Rome!
