I really wish we could deport Sean Hannity to Juarez, Mexico
Edited on Fri Jun-08-07 12:01 AM by Quixote1818
along with all the other insensitive ass holes who have no feeling for people trying to make a life for themselves and their children. I would love to see Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh try to make it in a small village where they have to work in a hot field for eight hours then go home with barely enough money to feed their children. Then when one child gets sick and the car breaks down and they struggle to pay the rent as the food in the cabinet dwindles to almost nothing. Watching their children grow thin from lack of nutrition. Many are much worse off than that. Hannity and Limbaugh would be in tears and crumble. They wouldn't have the courage to make it or to try to risk going to a place where they have a chance to give their children a better life. But if they did get the chance I am sure they would take it in a heart beat.

Where the hell has the compassion in people gone?

2. They know racism sells among their braindead fans.
Sure money maker. I doubt they even think about it anymore. I wouldn't wish those cockroaches on my southern neighbors.

They both are a blight on society.

3. You wouldn't have to send them to Mexico. Just put them to
work in the kitchen of any restaurant here or let them work in the fields in the central valley of California picking onions. You could put Bill O'Reilly there along with them too.

5. Actually you could put most of the American People there
Most people could use a good dose of reality and the hardships around the world. They call this a "Christian Nation" LOL! Very few people are anything like Jesus and his compassion for the poor and sick yet they spout about the Bible constantly.

But if I had to just send a few it would be:

Sean Hannity
Rush Limbaugh
Michael Savage
Bill O'Reilly
All the Republican candidates
Every Conservative talk personality
Everyone on FOX news

As for Bush? We send him to Iraq since things are so great there

How else could they support snow birding. Low wages to the Ag workers and tax cuts to them.

Edited on Fri Jun-08-07 12:41 AM by smtpgirl
make them both work at a McDonald's in a large metropolitan city like NY, DC, LA, with spanish speaking people.

Give them the worst jobs, like cleaning tables, picking up trash, cleaning the bathrooms and scrubbing the fryers.

Their tune would change on a dime.

ASSHOLES

Whee, found a tidbit from Wiki about the holier than thou Insannity

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sean_Hannity

Radio
Further information: The Sean Hannity Show
Sean Hannity got his first talk radio show in 1987 at KCSB-FM, the volunteer college station at UC Santa Barbara. After airing for 40 hours of air time,<5> Hannity's weekly show was cancelled in 1989, when KCSB management charged him with "discriminating against gays and lesbians" after two shows featuring the book The AIDS Coverup: The Real and Alarming Facts about AIDS by Gene Antonio. The station reversed its decision to dismiss Hannity due in part to a campaign conducted by the Santa Barbara Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. Hannity decided against returning to KCSB.<6>

Poor Old Sean, "USED" the ACLU to sue his first radio station.

Too bad that radio station folded, they had no balls.

Edited for a wiki search

10. Fox "News" reporting
is really revving up the propaganda machine about "illegals," as they love to call them (not to mention some DUers here). (By the way I'm not a newbie, just someone who lost her password and reregistered under a new name in case anyone thinks I'm overstepping my bounds.) That's why the poster is disgusted. I am too. Fox was showing lots of films of Mexican migrants crouching in the desert and getting into vehicles to cross the border. Ooo, scary---brown-skinned men. So much of this uproar about discrimination is about Americans wanting to keep out latino culture, if you ask me.

13. I caught 10 minutes of Hannity today and it was DISGUSTING!!!
All the fucking ass holes were calling in talking about these poor people as though they were not human. Having no compassion or understanding of how difficult their lives are and how much they care about their children and families. It was absolutely sickening!

I understand there is a problem but these poor people are just trying to survive!

FUCK YOU HANNITY AND FUCK ALL YOUR ASS HOLE HEARTLESS LISTENERS!

17. Ten minutes!
I can never stand more than about ten seconds of the Vile Slanthead before I turn off the radio in horror. I assume that his cretinous listeners enjoy hearing him rant ignorantly, displaying his bigotry with every breath. Well, I don't.

25. Last night on the station that Hannity sprang from, they aired a live anti-immigrant protest.
Yet they believe the fairness doctrine would deter their right to free speech.

9. Here's my question
Where's your compassion for AMERICANS struggling against poverty and homelessness and not having enough to eat?

Charity begins at home.

11. I could care less if someone in poverty is American or not
I care about all people including Americans in poverty. Are you suggesting that Illegals are causing poverty here in the US? As long as there is a demand by US employers for workers they can hire at slave wages, there will be "illegal" immigrants. Blame the corporations not those trying to survive and feed their children. If employers can't pay a decent wage then they shouldn't be in business, as Thom Hartman would say.

I was lucky as hell to be born into a great situation and I would hope that if I was born into poverty someone would care about me and not just write me off simply because I was born across the border. Sure there is a problem and it needs to be solved but I refuse to fault people who are struggling to survive by trying to make a better life for them self and their children. I would do EVERYTHING in my power to give my children a better life and NOT doing so is the real crime! The laws of nature are much more real and powerful than our laws. Of course we have to have such laws but I am not going to fault these people for wanting a better life for them self and their children.

27. People are not more valuable just merely for being American
Edited on Fri Jun-08-07 12:26 PM by treestar
That's the kind of thinking that is making us hated throughout the world.

As for the illegals, they are just doing the best they can; it's the laws we have that make them illegal, and they are less dangerous to Americans than Americans who drive drunk or even just speed. The fear of illegals has no basis in reality other than racism or an overly intense concern with obeying every last rule - authoritarianism, no matter what the consequences.

And if an American violated some other country's rules of immigration you'd be just as angry about that, no? Or is there an exception for Americans, since they are supposedly so superior?

21. I think all politicians should have to spend just one week living in the shoes of a poor person
Michael Portillo, who used to be one of our most right-wing politicians, did accept a challenge to exchange with a working-class single mother in northern England, and do her two low-paid part-time jobs for one week while looking after her four children on her pay. He just about got through it, and, though he didn't exactly become a raving leftie, he changed from being one of the most right-wing to one of the most liberal members of his party. I wish more people would do that!

23. How does this fit into their Horatio Alger stories of hard work and entrepreneurism?

They rant and rant about hard work and how if you work hard you too can become soo successful just like them but not if you are brown oh no then you should take a bite of the sandwich God gave you.
