Lionel:"Typical chick, getting upset over God knows what"
Lionel (Seders AAR replacement) responding to a call on their listener comment line.

Wonder if he knows he just validated 'Super Dave's" comments from a few moments earlier.

Saw a few threads and thought I would give him another listen. Lasted all of ten minutes. Did get some insight on Paris/Bindi though, you know, that important stuff we can get from any other media outlet.

Unfuckingbelieveable.

1. It was a joke!
Jesus, and they say Liberals have no sense of humor.

P.S. I laughed, and I'm a chick.

4. No, when they replace a quality show like Seder's
with this typical inane talk radio fluff, yes, I really become quite humorless.

Guess they had to destroy 'Liberal' talk radio to save it.

6. You're sort of right.
They had to get an audience to save it. The affiliates were dropping Sedar's show like it was the plague.

7. Lack of audience or lack of promotion?

It was a new show, going up against Miller in a very limited market of available stations.

8. The market was limited because all of the affiliates dropped out and carried
Miller!

But you have to sell advertising to exist as a radio station, unless you're NPR. That is the truth.

13. Good for you then
Glad you are happy with Lionel.

As for me, I really can't hold out to the bits of actual content due to his repellent delivery in typical Reich talk radio style. So it's back to NPR and the 'earths flat, opinions differ' approach for me. Boring/milquetoast I can put up with. Abrasive/arrogant I cannot.

But, again, I'm happy for you. Really. Hope the job lasts.

9. Actually I think their shows would compliment each other.

They should move Sam Seder back to weekdays.
P.S. If their ego's can handle it.

5. there are plenty of funny liberals
Michael Moore, Al Franken, Jon Stewart, etc.

I don't think any of these would be capable of uttering a lame old bigoted joke like this. They could have a great time mocking the lameness of it though!

11. Listener comment line call
Basically a well put together rant by a trucker on why he does not like Lionel (smartass, condescending, etc.).

Guess I'm just a minority in what I expect out of 'Liberal/Progressive' talk.
