Why are we asking why Paris Hilton is not in jail when we should be asking why Bush is not in jail? |

Edited on Fri Jun-08-07 05:33 PM by MN Against Bush
I am no fan of Paris Hilton, and I have no clue why anyone would be a fan. She has done virtually nothing to warrant anyone's attention yet the media can't get enough of her.
Why are we sitting here debating whether or not she should be in jail? Who cares? She poses no threat to any of us, yet we still find ourselves debating whether or not she got off too easy.
In the meantime there is a criminal running loose who does pose a serious threat to every last one of us, yet the media refuses to ask questions as to why he is not locked up in a maximum security prison.
This man is responsible for over 600,000 civilian deaths. He is responsible for the theft of billions upon billions of taxpayers dollars which he used to help his rich friends get richer, he has illegally spied on tens of millions of Americans through his warrantless wiretapping program, he has committed large scale electoral fraud, he has held people prisoner without charging them, he has revealed classified information about an undercover CIA operative to the press, he has lied to Congress, he has falsified intelligence to start an illegal war, he has used chemical weapons on civilians, he sat by and watched as people drowned in New Orleans, he has tortured, he has killed, and he has maimed countless people. Am I forgetting anything? Unfortunately yes I am, the list of crimes is so long I doubt there is anyone who could remember every crime this man has ever committed.
And yet we are debating whether Paris Hilton should be in jail.
Let us focus on the real criminals, and stop focusing on the stories that the National Enquirer and their imitators on all the corporate "news" networks want us to focus on.

Concentrating on putting Bush in jail.
For six-plus years.
We need Paris' judge to run for the office.

I'd like to see them both in jail but as long as they got lawyers on their side, won't happen.

9. Paris Hilton is a diversion away from real issues |
|
Yes, agreed. People don't like her because she has a lot of money that she inherited. Yet what about all the CEO's that make 400 times more then the average worker? Why arn't they imprisoned for slavery?
