Are George W. Bush and Paris Hilton out of the same mold?
I admit I could be wrong here, but I have an opinion.

Both are loser rich elitist heirs that have made their way in this world based 200% upon their daddy's name. Neither are worth a tinker's damn as compared to those Americans that have worked 2 jobs for everything they and their families have.

Edited on Fri Jun-08-07 06:34 PM by ShortnFiery
The whole bunch of them, especially the mom, are a waste of humanity due to having everything handed to them by the late father/grandfather.

Let's tax the hell out of the idle rich by retro-actively INCREASING The Estate Tax for those inheriting over 6 million bucks? If you can't live on 6 million of inherited wealth then you don't deserve one cent: See the poster children for FILTHY rich scumbags =
The Hilton Family! ;)

That would make lots of rich folks happy. In 2007, the tax is 42% of anything over $2 million.

22. Question
Lee...do you believe that anyone is truly accountable for their own actions, or are their actions the result of something beyond their control? I'm very interested in your philosophy on this. My own belief is that as an individual I'm totally and absolutely responsible for what I do...no one else. If I'm a loser or lawbreaker it is because I'm both. Yes there are others with an agenda that will work to influence my actions, but it is my responsibility to act on my own. Republicans don't believe in this philosophy. Do you?

I suffer from bipolar disorder which is technically a psychosis, PTSD, clinical depression and alcoholism. I have friends who suffer from schizophrenia. I KNOW you're wrong. I suggest Psychology 101.

...and don't bring Republicans into this if you really want a discussion. I am further from a Republican than anyone I can imagine. I've been homeless for YEARS on end. I left home at 15 because of the severe abuse, etc....and actually, it is liberals, traditionally, who have a heart and understand things like mental illness and alcoholism, not Rethugs. Republicans are the ones without heart or soul.

Also, I never said Paris should go scott free with no repercussions. NOT ONCE have I said that. I said I believe in community service and not jail for non-violent offenders. My principles go across the board and are not just reserved for liberals, friends and people I approve of.

Opinion or not, they aren't even close to being the same. Do you actually believe for a second that they are?

If your only evidence is that they are both rich and have well known dads, then I guess I can just as easily claim that you are of the same mold since you wear clothes and shoes just like them.

There are so many characteristics inherent within each individual. If you're going to claim two as being from the same mold, you're gonna have to give it a heck of a better shot than this.

other mammals, lizards, amphibians, and before that fish, multi and single-celled organisms.

Unless you're one of the pinheads running for the GOP nomination, in which case the two of them may have been "intelligently designed". :eyes:

Beyond that, though, there's not a lot of similarity. If Bush had limited himself to drunk driving and going to parties, the Country would be a lot better off.

I'm not going to jump on this weird French Revolutionary fetishistic crap fantasizing about what should be "done to" her. Give her the same jail sentence as anyone else who did what she did.

Beyond that, she's not guilty of anything except being rich and shallow. She hasn't destroyed the Constitution, she hasn't started any idiotic, lie-based wars. Enough, already, for fuck's sake.

It's the same reason we have episodic Pedo Frenzies and make bad jokes about Bubba, the prison rapist. It's a form of human stampeding behavior.

I can't say I hold Ms. Hilton in particularly high esteem, but with millions of Americans who have made her the receptacle for their bile and a judge whose opinions come straight from the gossip tabloids, she doesn't seem all that bad today.

Both have a high degree of respect for common working Americans eking out a living..... :sarcasm:

George Bush transfers their taxes to the rich.

Paris Hilton gets paid to portray a guest of the simple folk on her TV show.

Both use common folk to their benefit and both have little regard to our laws.

There appears to be no other reason for the public outpouring of hatred for Ms. Hilton other than that she is rich, and somewhat bubbleheaded.

With Bush, that just STARTS the list.

Hating Paris Hilton is as much as a narcissistic public indulgence as is the Freeper practice of hating Paris, France.

44. I despise the Filthy *idle* rich. If Conrad Hilton had not contested DADDY's Will these worthless
offspring would only have $250,000 apiece to make their own way.

Why do you think that filthy rich, but MUCH LESS than IDLE, Martha Stewart served out her "unduly harsh" sentence with grace? Yes, that's because she was THE PERSON who EARNED her fortune, not spoiled rotten offspring that contested a will and live a debauched and shameless lifestyle.

There's nothing wrong with earning your money but even Bill Gates does not want to leave his kids EVERY DAMN thing. I believe that he wishes for them to "serve the common good" and actually WORK before he crosses the great divide.

The Patriarch Hilton who did NOT wish for his spoiled heirs to receive his fortune must be rolling over in his grave.

The LIVING heirs have *tarnished* the once laudable name "Hilton" which now stands of the worthlessness of the
idle nouveau riche. :puke:

I hate to say this but I'm starting to feel sorry for the little bitch. If she can't cope with this perhaps she has some mental problems. Regardless I'll predict that her actions will end her career.

America still respects toughness such as Martha Stewart showed when she went to prison and they disrespect wimps.

But in another respect I can see Bush acting the same way if he had to face adversity such as impeachment. Just like with Paris, he'd be in the back seat crying Mommy.
