I don't feel a thing. I don't care if Paris deserves it or is a victim. Am I alone?

I read all these posts here hoping someone will say something that will make me interested in whether this young woman deserves it or not. But the more I read the less I care. I frankly don't even want to think about it long enough to form an opinion.

Because...I don't care.

I don't get being a celebrity without doing anything. She doesn't sing, or act, or play sports. She just promoted herself to celebrity status (or am I missing something?) So, she craves the limelight and she's getting it...or learning the price of getting it.

Is there some reason I should care?

3. I should have but I wondered if there was something I was missing
so I read a few. People here are actually having heated arguments over whether she should have gone back to jail.

Sheesh.

6. Well you know, happyness is based on expectaions
She probably got her hopes up that she could stay home then they turn around and put her back in jail again!

These people need to make up their minds, put her some place and leave her there. It's kind of like telling a little kid that he can have a nice big ice-cream cone, putting it in little Jimmy's hands, then just before he starts to lick it you pull away the cone and say FUCK YOU LITTLE JIMMY!!! :spank:

Little Jimmy is then going to go NUTS!!!!! They should have put her in Jail and left her there. What's up with the Sheriff lettering her out???

Now you got me into this!!! :banghead:

4. I care not whether you care or not!
But I do care rather seriously that the question of equal justice for all, despite their wealth or celebrity has been brought to the fore. Perhaps we should thank PH for her unwitting (honestly, no pun intended) role in this.

5. You Should Care Just On Account That She's A Human Being.
This is something that is going to be monumentally hard for her, regardless of the fact that she did it to herself.

Blond beautiful rich girls are human beings too, at the end of the day.

Not saying you should fall down in tears for her, but feeling a bit sad for her shouldn't be out of the question either just based on the fact that she's in pain, and we should always feel some form of sympathy when we see another in pain.

8. What is with all the people defending Paris Hilton?
Last month it was Jerry Falwell now it's this no-talent bimbo. I'm not saying the two of them are in the same league but aren't there more worthwhile people out there to defend? Geez.

9. you know with all the celebrity drunky problems i'm thinking of starting a celebrity minder
business. Here is my plan, i offer my services to one of them pro bono, i work with them for 2 weeks, lay down the new rules, hire the appropriate staff for them, namely drivers, lots of them on rotation so there is always at least one available when our budding party person is getting ready to tie one on. Ok so after this time period and no negative stories appear about them in the press the now minded celeb hits the cable news show circuit and sings my praises thus bringing me a whole bunch of new paying clients and a booming business is born--celebrity minders, you'll thank me later Nation.

10. There is one reason
This is a big story - why?
Politicians need to examine the things that make the news like this and figure out what causes such great emotion.
Stories like this are mirrors - for good or bad - that tell us the mood of the country.
Frankly, I am glad that people are not so accepting of the two tiered justice system.

If we could figure out how to frame the DOJ scandal in a way that catches the emotions of the country it would get a lot more attention. The administration is the paris hilton administration. They behave the same way but the population has not perceived it that way - they should.

14. I don't care about her
I don't care if Paris Hilton lives or dies.

I don't care if she's happy or sad.

I don't care if she suffers or not.

I don't wish her ill, nor do I wish her well. She is a nonentity to me.

If she causes any reaction at all to me, it's yawning.
