Saddle up. It's likely to go on and on. It's hard for the media types to let go of the people they are fixated on. The only one I can think of is Claudine Longet, who just dropped off the face of the earth in the mid-1970's.

12. June 8, 2007- The Day America Officially Jumped The Shark.
I think Howard Stern said something like that a couple of days ago, but I can't think of anything else that sums up the previous days' coverage so perfectly.

She's on 24/7 now because she's photogenic. Once the first wrinkles appear, any day now at the rate she parties, she's history.

15. Media helped kill Anna Nicole and Diana and who knows who else
They are so intrusive and would not want others to treat them the same way - they are over the top - this is horrible - the picture of lindsay sleeping in a car - anyone sleeping in a car would look like that - they are all tabloids now - just a bunch of 'old ladies with nothing of substance to talk about'

they kill people with their nastiness and from what I have seen on here today - an awful lot of people have become truly mean hearted or hard hearted - divide and conquer - the corporations have done that with the help of the media - it is all based on getting everyone mad everyone else and ignoring what is really going on - typical of addicts - the media is addicted to ruining people's lives

19. NOT SO! Remember...uh...Whatzisname Jackson?
The guy with the red leather coat? He was finished as a creative artist long before his child-molester accusations; he crashed right after his so-called "Victory Tour."

In fact, there's a book called "Trapped: Michael Jackson and the Crossover Dream" by music critic Dave Marsh. It's kind of old, but you can find it on Amazon.com - top price is about $6 and the bottom price is real cheap for about 20 available copies.

In it, Marsh looks at Jackson's career up to the end of the Victory Tour, where he stopped making interesting music and became a bum and a walking joke. He points ou that, when the press make somebody into an instant hero, as they did Jackson, the second he starts declining they start arranging a funeral for the guy's popularity.

That is what we are seeing with Hilton. In a year she won't be much more than a Jeopardy question.
