1. I vote "Yes" because I can think of no one who has done so much
damage to so-o many people....his own people!

2. Well....
That's a subjective thing. One could make the case that Joseph McCarthy and his actions did more as much damage to this country as did Bush.

21. Joseph McCarty didn't take us to war, bankrupt the treasury or
commit torture in the name of freedom. Although, I think JC could have done a lot more damage had he had the position to do so.

8. I will second that
There are many who still deny that but everything this monster does goes further and further in the direction of Hitler.
People who deny he is like Hitler only look at the Hitler of WWII, they don't look at what happened prior to WWII when Hitler slowly seized power in Germany and transformed the state into the monster we all know from WWII history.
People will also say it will never happen here or it could never happen again. History will repeat itself when people are too complacent and blind to the facts.

5. The only positive thing I can see in him serving out his term. . .
is to reinforce all of the negative perceptions so that we don't make these mistakes again for a long, long time.

We have a lot of work to do to clean this up.

6. Yes, especially when...
President Edwards/Obama/Clinton/Dodd/Richardson/Kucinich/Gravel/Biden makes public millions and millions of pages of executive branch documents from Bush's residency.

Hence the puckering assholes on the GOP side.

11. Not after the revisionists get done with tweeking the truth.
I believe that * is the first in a long line of RW dictators that will run this once great nation into the ground. History books will be revised and Reagan will be the "Father of our Country" and * will be remembered as a hero and statesman.
Sorry for the cynicism but I feel that Georgie aint goin nowhere in Jan 09.

15. Because the totality of his crimes haven't been revealed ...yet
I think there are things even we don't know about... yet.

And even then, when the rest of America realizes what's been hidden from them (maybe sometime in 2023).
And that all these problems started back in the early 00's with Arbusto.

18. I'll mourn for this nation if he isn't.
Without an almost universal condemnation of this administration, the prospects for democracy in this nation are dim, indeed. At a time we're seeing fans of Joe McCarthy crawl out of the woodwork, I'm not sanguine.
