Sort of a fill in for the President. How many has Cheney attended and when has he ever "filled in" for Bush*? Does anyone on the face of the earth believe Lieberman would have behaved in the manner of Cheney if the Gore/Lieberman team had taken office? Cheney needs to be taken down but I don't see it happening. Apparently everyone is afraid of him. He is too chickenshit to fight his own battles but he has enough money to hire anyone to do anything and he has absolutely no scruples. I wish there was just a little bravery amongst the Democrats. I understand some got sent Anthrax and believe me when your life is threatened in such a manner it is extremely tough to not think of your family and dream of better days to come. Just keep your powder dry and your day will come. Well it ain't just gunna come. Evil has taken over America and it's head is Cheney and even once he is out of office he will still have the same power to intimidate. He has all the money in the wolrd at his beck and call but sometimes a hero needs to step forward and try and slay the dragon. It is way past time..

2. I wonder if we will ever go back to those days when the VP was
close to invisible?

Although I doubt we'll EVER have another VP like Unka Dick (at least I HOPE NOT) I also doubt we'll ever return to the old days of the silent partner VP days either.
