I will not watch the remake of The Parent Trap. The 1961 version is the only version for me.

I think it's better. The supporting characters are terrific, especially "Cruella". Lindsey was so good you'd think she was your own daughter.

11. You're missing out on the LL version of TPT. It's far superior

to the original. LL does an amazing job of playing English and American twins. I mean truly amazing. She gives one of the best juvenile performances I've ever seen. She's so good that when she plays the American twin pretending to be the English twin, her English accent is different (from when playing the English twin) like someone pretending to have an English accent. Yet when she plays the more reserved English twin, her English accent and reserved English demeanor is spot on. It really is like watching two different actors. She's great. Don't watch. But do check out the reviews. She's still living off the creds she earned from this performance.

ON edit: I have to add as the above poster mentioned the part of the father's fiance is brilliantly portrayed by a little known actress. She's a hoot as the potential step mother. And the pranks the twins play on her are hysterical. Better than the original. C'mon. This movie is played on cable every single week. Give it a try. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

The Media have created this Frenzy around Paris.
