"My man, Mitt! ComMITTed to Romney!"
Just a gut feeling that this is the nominee we will be facing in '08.

New Hampshire poll 6/9: Mitt Romney 27%, John McCain 16%, Rudy Giuliani 15%, Fred Thompson 12%, Mike Huckabee 5%, Sam Brownback 1%, Duncan Hunter 1%, and under 1% for Ron Paul, Jim Gilmore, Tommy Thompson, and Tom Tancredo. Undecided was 22%. Although the pollster did not ask about Newt Gingrich, 1% of the respondents named him anyway.

3. You saying the Repubs are getting on the Romnibus? /nt
He's Romniscient! He's Romnipotent!

Seriously, he's their best choice: he'd lose some evangelical votes, but he's the only one of them who is passably "Presidential." Looks count!

7. Hillary or Obama could whip Mitt?
Mitt looks good and speaks well which gives him the advantage over Edwards.

An Obama/Hillary ticket could whip Mitt.

16. He was my governor for 4 years. Edwards has the advantage.
Mitt used 'tar baby' in a sentence last year, and was constantly making empty remarks about nothing. John Edwards says things of substance, Mitt is nothing more than a Ken Doll.

17. I read an interview with him recently, and it was like something from "Idiocracy."
He strikes me as an imbecile. And we all know there's no way an imbecile could ever be elected President.

10. BILLIONAIRE Mitt.
Edited on Sun Jun-10-07 09:27 PM by IndyOp
There are already great anti-Mitt ads from his run for (office) in Massachusetts -- people talking about how Mitt bought out the companies they worked for and fired everyone and sent the jobs to China.

I think Mitt isn't as formidable as actor Fred Thompson...

14. True re: Thompson
The GOP is vapid enough to think he's qualified, too.

13. I wouldn't get too worked up about it.
These are all the standard things put up by his campaign and supporters. Astroturf. Fake grassroots.

He's the only one who can string a sentence together,
and he has good hair.

Yep.

He's the man to beat.

19. They should be comMITTed with Junior Soprano or Lindsey Lohan
Every time Willard Mitt Romney opens his piehole, my Bullshit Security Threat Detector gets raised to red alert. Now there are a whole lotta GOP phonies out there -- for example, Tom DeLay, who does nothing but lie, and even his supporters are in on that joke -- but I swear, I have never seen a politician who so exudes (excretes) phoniness as Willard Mitt Romney does.
