We've succeeded in creating an American-style democracy in Iraq!
I mean, what other country has a more politically-powerless executive and doing-nothing legislative body other than iraq? Mission accomplished. Now, lets get the hell out of there.

1. Naw, we're a kakistocracy
THEY can't function as a government because of us.

Slight difference there. :sarcasm:

2. Hey, W's oil and defense contractors still have billions to be made
All siphoned from U.S. taxpayers, and subsidized by U.S. military deaths. W's not going to change the program,

3. I am not sure, but ....
There may be some insights in this here rabbit hole and they don't have to conform to any particular norms or cultural convention. Nor are they primarily religious, political, or even overtly philosophical in nature. There just has to be an emergent mutation that is overdue. Something that counters the pros and cons and perhaps illuminates with a transcending perspective worthy of consideration?

Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows without an actual experience to relate? Perhaps we have had enough of the implicit trust, based on various forms of faith and belief, to entertain a bold inspection into the nature of the predicament? That can be left to the consensus of those who inspect the criteria as nothing else can authentically validate such a brave new insight.
