It's a History Channel program, listing the ten most destructive possibilities that could end life on Earth, including gamma bursts, black holes, asteroids strikes, supervolcanos, nuclear war, pandemics, etc. But the number one threat is Global Warming.
They showed a bunch of Faux News assholes talking out their butts, basically said as much, and then had a bunch of climatologists AND Al Gore on to say how there IS no scientific debate on the subject. It's fact, and it's a fact that WE humans are the primary contributor. One went so far as to say that those who deny Climate Change are hardly different from those who deny the Holocaust.
The rest of them don't bother me. Any of the natural ones are entirely beyond our control. I refuse to fret about things we cannot change.
I heard something on the radio recently that a survey has shown that Global Warming is the biggest fear of junior high school students, far greater than terrorism or nuclear war.
I guess that's a positive development, of a sort.

1. Don't forget "Manos: the Hands of Fate" |
|
Too many copies of that in distribution, I shudder to think what the effect on the populace would be.
