America won't have another revolt because the poor people are on the government dole and won't bite the hand that feeds them? Excuse me but from my understanding the revolt that lead to the country being self lead was started by rich plantation owners and rich business men, not poor farmers or workers. The upper crust, for obvious reasons, want to protect the status quo. The lower classes lack money and organization, and are too busy trying to put food on the table. Who does that leave? The middle class that gets squeezed and squeezed until something has to give!

9. They should also remember that FDR won because there was a

large movement toward communism in this country in the 1920 and 1930s. That revolution of the "poor" and working people was stopped when he put his safety net into place and allowed unions to speak for workers. *ss is dismantling this net. Maybe the poor would not start a revolution but give them a leader and who knows? Maybe they will follow.
