What Happened to Senate Session on Gonzo Censure Vote...it's Gone?

DU thread by Solly Mack is dead...and C-Span doesn't have it on schedule. They are showing debate on Biodiesel Fuel with Barbara Boxer and Jeff Bingamon.

I went out for a minute and the whole Session Disappeared. Did Reid call the vote off? :shrug:

1. I saw Feinstein call for an end to the debate.

Then they went straight into the Biodiesel Fuel debate. I'm not really sure what's going on.

3. What I heard Harry Reid say when the Senate

opened was that there would be an hour for morning business, one hour for debate on the Motion to Proceed to the energy bill, and one hour for the debate on the Gonzo lack of confidence resolution. 4:30 is when the Gonzo debate is supposed to start, although Domenici is still blabbing. I think they are supposed to vote on Gonzo around 5:30.

4. Thanks! There's a Yahoo Article out that says Specter will vote Yes...But I heard Specter say NO

he will not vote for Censure because it's just a partisan stunt. Yet the Yahoo article says Specter to vote Yes on Censure.

The Yahoo article is here on DU somewhere and friend just called me to tell me about the article and I had to say...that's not true what they reported.

Did Specter suddenly decide to vote Against after telling a Philly group he would vote FOR?

7. Beginning to think so....Why did Schumer do this? He didn't even

speak about it and now there's just an Energy Hearing on... Only four or five Senators spoke and Specter says he's voting no...so I guess it's dead. Maybe they gave up on the vote.
