Media ALREADY Using Specter "Dems Using Partisan Politics Meme" about Failed Gonzo Censure! |
|
Who do we blame for this quick vote where NO ONE CHECKED TO SEE THE NUMBERS? Schumer or Reid? Who allowed this vote to go forward that would make Dems look like Laughing Stock Losers Once Again?
We already heard yesterday both Bush and Snow laughing and saying Gonzo was being used by Dems for Partisan Politics allowing their RW Talk Show folks to have their Talking Points.
It was up to both Reid and Schumer to know whether they had the votes to PUSH THIS VOTE ON VOTE to "Test the Waters" before they pushed for this vote.
This is Disgusting! I'm a life long Dem...Precinct VP...Got involved heavily because of Howard Dean...I'm about ready to walk out the DOOR because of this CRAP!

This is just the RW talking points being pumped through -- it was a big staged event. Of course the media repeats it ... they're Pravda. The Democrats are the only sane alternative here. We have no other choice. To say otherwise is to aid the far-right, which is probably the whole point.

who want to repeat and amplify this scenario by getting a vote on impeachment. Either of Gonzalez or Bush.
This just shows what happens when you're out of synch with the conventional wisdom, no matter how wrongheaded. It's infuriating. It's also not clear that embarking on a series of doomed resolutions is going to change anything.
I do believe that this is fodder for next year's elections. Each one of the Republican senators will have to stand by his vote.

I don't think you're really happy here. I wish you the best of luck with your new party. Meanwhile, the Dallas Morning News has finally come to Jesus: < http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/dn/opinion/points/stories/DN-dreher_10edi.ART.State.Edition1.43481c7.html>

6. I understand your frustration. Believe me. I don't think it helps us to have non-binding votes |

for show. Or to put people "on the record".
The Dems come off like ineffectual losers and look more than a little weak. I don't know what they hope to gain with this sort of thing - is it supposed to appease the liberal left anti-war types (like me?)? If that's what it's all about - please PLEASE stop it.
