2. I think I've been in the first clip's church.

It sure looked a lot like the church my cousin and his wife took me and my mom to years ago on a visit. The music was louder (we both had horrible headaches afterwards), and there was an odd healing service as part of it that was really weird.

I grew up an evangelical, and I went to an evangelical college, so it didn't strike me as bad so much as odd that they filmed it. That kind of service is ultimately a private experience, so why film it?

4. I found that really embarrassing

and could only watch a small portion of each of those. I spent the 1980s as an evangelical Christian so these clips hit home in a really painful way.
