I use it on those rare pages that Firefox won't open. It's nice, and fast, but there are a few add-ons that keep me hooked on Firefox. I've been 100% IE-free for a couple of years now; I strongly recommend it if you like faster web surfing, pages rendered properly, no MS security holes, a little bit of peace of mind in breaking apart the IE/Windows control of your machine. iPhone to Support Third-Party Web 2.0 Applications

1. Mozilla is still the only browser I currently test under that truly supports the javascript DOM

the others, including Safari, do not, I'm sad to say. :-(

Firefox is becoming a truly excellent browser, IMO.

Are you using Firebug in Firefox to debug your Javascript?

What I've noticed is that Safari is more lenient in some aspects of working with the DOM. And what are you doing with the DOM that Safari doesn't "get"? I'm curious.

And tell me about how well previousSibling is working for you in Firefox. Are you getting whitespace or the element you thought you'd get?

Whitespaces are not siblings! I hate that. I never use innerText, only innerHTML. Over the years, I've learned to write very clean CSS & JS so that the majority of browsers won't have an issue with my code. I look back at some of my old stuff (a lot of it is still in use) and cringe.

3. Firefox and Safari

I use Firefox mostly, but I also use Safari for
certain sites that Firefox won't work with.

I do love my Mac. I have a pc laptop that I
hardly ever use, but it comes in handy for
things that work only with Windows.

My work computer is running Windows 2000 and my jellybaby iMac is running Kubuntu. Safari is incompatible for me :(
