The Senate is expected to vote tomorrow TODAY to decide whether or not to require that at
least 15% of our electricity must come from clean, renewable sources by 2020!

Please don't miss out on this chance to support clean, renewable energy and fight global warming.

http://ga3.org/campaign/res_senate">Click here now to ask your Senators to support legislation to require that at least 15% of our electricity come from clean, renewable sources (like wind and solar) by 2020 when they cast their votes tomorrow.

Americans know that renewable energy can help curb global warming, create jobs, and save consumers money.

Twenty-three states have already adopted renewable energy targets as high as 25% by 2020.

Now it's time for Congress to take action.

Click here to write your letter today in support of clean, renewable energy!

With your help, we can tap into America's clean energy potential by requiring utilities
to generate at least 15% of our electricity from renewable energy by 2020.

It's a win-win solution for the environment and our economy.

Please join us in telling the Congress to make our energy future a clean, renewable one before it's too late!

Write your Senators today to urge them to ensure that at least 15% of our electricity
comes from clean renewable energy sources by 2020.

Once you've contacted your Senators, please encourage your friends, family members
and co-workers to join you in taking action.

Please don't wait, the vote may be as early as tomorrow so there is no time to waste!

Thanks for taking action on this important environmental issue and helping us make
America's clean energy future a reality.

Sincerely,
Julie Waterman

1. Done and there's a bill on Coal Liquids Fuel Act" (H.R. 2208
Liquid Coal = Solid Air

There's a piece of legislation -- the "Coal Liquids Fuel Act" (H.R. 2208) -- that, thanks to the powerful coal industry, is gaining popularity in Washington. If passed into law, this act would be a huge victory for one of the biggest polluters around and would subsidize a dangerous new fuel industry that would actually increase greenhouse gas emissions. It's a step backwards for the environment, not a step forward.
