Gunmen kill Afghan school girls

It's possible it was clan-related, but of course fundamentalist religion remains a suspect, as usual.

Two gunmen on a motorbike have killed two school girls and wounded six others as they left their school south of the Afghan capital, Kabul, officials say.

The attack in Logar province came at about midday as pupils were leaving.

Officials say the gunmen waited for the girls before spraying bullets into the all-girl school and escaping. It is not clear who carried out the attack.

The Taleban reportedly denied carrying out the attack.

The Taleban has in the past warned women and children to stay away from schools and remain at home.

They have also been accused of burning numerous schools and killing teachers.

And to a lesser extent, any man that doesn't agree with their extremism.

The Taliban are barbarians, true monsters that have no place in the civilized world. They have enslaved the women of Afgahnistan, taking away every basic human right. These women truly are shadow people. They are not to be seen or heard. They care nothing about them except as vessels to breed more zealots and do the housework. They sell off little girls to abusive men as "wives".
