Will the real White Man please stand up? on Hillary and Obama |
|
Watched a bunch of talking heads on Tweetie's show tonight...The topic was HRC and the women vote...etc. And Obama getting monority votes...Sounded like a winning ticket to me.
BUT of course, they had to say people hate HRC and the people won't admit they can't vote for a black dude, trying to position both HRC and Obama as not electable.
But if the numbers are true (I think they are), that Obama gets the minority vote, HRC gets the women vote, then the only group who can defeat them is the middle age white man, the fat Rush, Trent Lott, Pat Buchanan types.
My question is: what percentage of the voters are these people? Does anyone know a real number?

1. Not only that . . . I'm a middle-aged white man and . . . |
|
I'll be voting for whichever Dem survives Feb. 5. So don't forget that a substantial fraction of that demographic is going to vote progressive. What fraction? I don't know -- 40% plus, as a guess.

2. Poll that was posted yesterday |
|
HRC is doing better than Obama with the black vote. The problem is she only gets 1 in 4 of the white male Independent voters that lean Democratic. Here is the poll that was posted yesterday: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x3311817

5. No numbers to add, but my advice? |
|
Stop listening to 'talking heads' and polls.
Besides, I think a majority of the population hasn't even considered the election yet. I'm so sick of the media telling us who is 'electable'. :puke:

7. You're right, the majority of people haven't even thought |
|
about the primaries. :)
And a lot can happen between now and February.

6. Hillary has poor women |
|
who aren't paying attention and answering on name recognition - and don't vote anyway. As soon as the campaign turns Michelle loose on them, this is over. Obama is the next President.

8. Why is it every time the shills talk about a Dem candidate it's negative, negative, negative and |
|
when they talk about Willard, Freddy and Rudy they spermiate all over themselves? It's nothing but breathless wonder and how much they're loved, how well they're doing in the polls, how well they did in a speech, how much the people admire them.....and if it's a Dem it's how much they're hated, how poorly so and so is doing in the polls, how bad they're being received by women, how much men hate them and it goes on and on and on and on. ENDLESS negativity toward Dems.
I happen to agree that a Clinton/Obama ticket would be almost impossible to beat. The WH MSM talkin head shills have NO CLUE what's happening out here in the REAL WORLD. They just like to stir up problems where there are none.
I have no clue how many middle aged, bigoted/women hating white men there are in this country. Not enough to beat a Clinton/Obama ticket.IMCPO....I think the middle aged, white men on teevee who were talking about this KNOW THAT.
