Did anyone record Countdown w/o Keith Olbermann just now?! They just had more video from Albainia...

...but it looked Fake!

The chick sitting in for Keith Olbermann just showed some footage they said shows what Tony Snowjob said is true, but I was just looking at the video I recorded last night from The Daily Show and The Colbert Report and the video looks nothing like what was on yesterday.

I think she said the video came from The White House, but I'm not sure. :shrug:

I really need to see that clip again (and hear what she said) to be sure.

On Edit: I guess I should clarify for those who missed it, The non-U.S. News Media was reporting all day that Bush had his Watch stolen during his Photo Op in Albania, but Snowjob said Bush put the watch in his pocket. Only this clip they showed on KO Countdown backs up this theory.

That said, if it came from the WH it probably was faked. The shot was too "close up". We should be able to see that camera in the other video. It'll be right over his left shoulder.

Edit: Just checked the original video, there's no camera there. I'm sure someone will do a more thorough comparison.

I know for a long time they didn't but we'd get three showings of "Hodball" and "Fucker." But at a later date they were running "Countdown" again at some later time. I haven't checked lately.

What did the video show?

We need the 8:30pm to 9:00pm segment to be sure they aren't trying to pull a fast one while Keith is away.

Before I thought the watch was stolen, but now I see where Bush puts his hand behind his back. This is right after the moment that I thought it was stolen.

His watch was probably loose and as the crowd all pushed to grab or shake his hand, it probably fell off and no one (the crowd) really noticed it until it was all over. As they cleared someone probably saw a watch on the ground, picked it up and thought someone (from the crowd) dropped it.

Like having his watch stolen is so earth shaking that people actually have to head-bang and brainstorm and call in a "video expert" or whatever, manipulate images and integrate them into the original, then get it out to all the right channels of communication along with some kind of idiotic "official statement" about it.
