Will The Neo-Con Become A Con?
Will the joke be on him? Despite massive temper tantrums by RWs and misguided opinions by 'esteemed personages', I say yes. Will there be a pardon? I say no.

Place your bets here, everyone is entitled to their opinion, none will be disparaged. (by Me.)

1. I don't think Reggie Walton likes Scooter very much.
There may be a reversal on appeal (due to a Federalist Society judge up the line) or there may be a pardon, but my bet is that Scootie will see the inside of the federal slam before either of those events happens.

3. Tony Snowjob begs to differ.
Not that the White House is overly concerned about the issue. Yeah, right.

4. I'm Mostly With You
Except for the reversal on appeal. I think all along Judge Walton was cognizant of the fact that these guys would and therefore bent over backwards to cut off their chances of success.

2. He'll serve. I think that this Bush loyalty thing is pure bull.
He keeps people around if they can help him or give him cover or divert attention. He's out for himself...but we knew that.

5. Well, yes, but the idea behind a pardon--or at least the promise--
is to keep the Scooterbird from singing its tune.
(Why does the caged Scooterbird sing?)

6. Heard Di Denova State Absolutely Tonight That A Pardon Will Be Issued
Now given the amount of delusion these people are subject to it hard to tell if the wink, wink, nod, nod has been given or if he's simply talking out of his ....nose.

7. Okay, DU Choir!
Here's a little tune for Scooter. It's the Beatles -- a song by John Lennon called, "And Your Bird Can Sing."

(Anna One, Anna Two
Let's sing!)

You say you've got everything you want
And your bird can sing
But you don't get me
you don't get me

You say you've seen the seven wonders
And you bird is green
But you can't see me
you can't see me

When your prized possessions
start to weigh you down
Look in my direction
I'll be round, I'll be round

When your bird is broken
will it bring you down
You may be awoken
I'll be round, I'll be round

You tell me that you've heard every sound there is
And your bird can swing
But you can't hear me
You can't hear me

8. Appropriate
I think we should send it so Scooter will get the idea he can sing, otherwise no one's gonna hear him.

As a second, might I suggest, 'Nowhere Man'

9. Perhaps if
we changed the words "on the hill" to "in his cell," Paul's song would work okay, as well:

Day after day alone on the hill
The man with the foolish grin
is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him
They can see that he's just a fool
And he never gives an answer

But the fool on the hill
sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round

Well on the way, his head in a cloud
The man of a thousand voices
is talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him
Or the sound he appears to make
And he never seems to notice

But the fool on the hill
sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head
See the world spinning round

10. Brilliant
'Woke up, fell out of bed,
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup,
And looking up I noticed I was late.
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke,
Somebody spoke and I went into a dream'
