Bush broadcasts his nonsense to Iraqis about al-Qaeda inciting them to violence

He sounds like an idiot liar here at home when he claims 'al-Qaeda' is the main cause of unrest and violence in Iraq, instead of his own obvious invasion, overthrow, and escalated occupation. He must sound like a total fool over there as he talks down to Iraqis, pretending he gives a damn about Iraqi lives . . . here's the report:


Bush to Iraqis: Don't Let Shrine Bombing Ignite More Killing

WHITE HOUSE (AP) - President Bush is urging Iraqis to avoid "acts of vengeance" after suspected al-Qaida militants bombed a key Shiite shrine yesterday. In a written statement, Bush says al-Qaida is scheming to "sow hatred" among Iraqis with such attacks. He's urging them not to play into al-Qaida's hands and instead join the fight against the terrorists he calls Iraq's "true enemy." Bush acknowledges that Iraq faces another "difficult moment" in the aftermath of the attack in Samarra. An attack on the same shrine last year sparked a sectarian bloodbath across the country. Several Sunni mosques in Iraq already have been attacked in retaliation for yesterday's Samarra bombing.
