Snow: President Bush Is ‘On The Frontlines’ Of The Iraq War ‘Every Day’

http://thinkprogress.org/2007/06/14/snow-bush-war/

In today’s White House press briefing, reporter Helen Thomas asked Tony Snow if there are “any members of the Bush family or this administration in this war.” Stunningly, Snow claimed that President Bush is actually on the “frontlines” of the war in Iraq:

Q: Are there any members of the Bush family or this administration in this war?

SNOW: Yeah, the President. The President is in the war every day.

Q: Come on, that isn’t my question –

SNOW: Well, no, if you ask any president who is a commander in chief –

Q: On the frontlines, wherever…

SNOW: The President.

3. Maybe, But He's On The Wrong Side Of The Line. He's Supposed To Be On The Side Protecting Our
troops, not putting them in further danger.

14. but that actually worked out! Alabama wasn't annexed, after all ...
... and the Viet Cong never did gain a foothold in Texas, thanks to Georgie's work with the TANG.

5. If only that were true
I'd have at least a small amount of respect for Bush if he'd don the uniform and fight. Instead, he hides behind his spokesliar's suit jacket and pretends to be "really concerned" about the poor soldiers he sends to die for his benefit.

Just because he got stripped of a watch, you thought he was in combat. ;-)

18. Bush wouldn't know a front line if it bit him in the ass... he wouldn't
know how to do a day's honest work, he wouldn't know how to tell the truth, he wouldn't know how to pay a mortgage, live on a budget, raise decent, productive children, serve his country...did I mention tell the truth?

The man has no clue, he has no idea how bad he is and how much damage he has done and he, as his mother before him, is not going to bother his beautiful mind with such trivia.

27. He looks like a deranged cruise director.
With apologies to actual cruise directors everywhere, and to the makers of clogs.

What IS it with the Current Occupant, that he's got to have a Presidential seal on his feet where he can see it? Does having that in sight give him a thrill? It must; it just makes me nauseous. :puke:

28. Is it possible for this guy to look any more dorky?
Scotty dog on his cap, wearing what looks like a skort - and is that the presidential seal on the socks? Don't get me started on the clogs. What the hell is he on the way to do anyway???

White House Garage Sale.. he just can't give anything up :)

Got some WEAPONS TO MOVE, get them Defense people in there and LOAD 'EM UP!

Looks sort of like he'd headed for a Poetry Reading, bet he's got some good stuff down in his Hello Kitty notebook..

Honestly, if HE or any of his Psycho asshole Repigs saw someone dressed that way, they'd be Howling for Hippie Blood all the way to the Golf CLUB.

25. You bet he is! Remember when Bush searched the Oval Office for WMD?
He should award himself a Freedom Medal and a Combat Infantryman's Badge for his brave service in the search for WMD.
