1.  How do you choose a topic for a movie given the rich source of unbelievable stupidity?

2. Why doesn't Moore inform people that legislation exists to fix the problem?
Edited on Thu Jun-14-07 02:41 PM by antigop
HR 676 Medicare for All has 72 co-sponsors.

He has a link to a Newsweek article by Fineman.
http://www.michaelmoore.com/sicko/news/article.php?id=9889

NOWHERE in the article does it say that there is a single-payer bill TODAY that would fix the problem.

4. Ask him to look into this reason thing everyone is talking about
Our society has been overrun with emotionalism. From the MSM using it to goad us into buying their products to politicians using it to scare us into electing them. Reason is the only counter to emotionalism but its no where as easy to push as emotions are. It needs all the help it can get. It needs champions.

5. Why did it cost 950 bucks for a doc to spend 3 minutes with my kid to use
three drops of the exact chemical equivalent of Krazy Glue to reconstruct his epithelial tissue from a minor gash on his eyebrow he got playing hockey and why did it take 5 hours to receive treatment?

Fifty grand for a broken arm is a bit much as well.

It's "sicko" for sure.

6. Ask him that since SICKO is destined for greatness
Does he plan on doing a sequel with stories from everyday people--like the woman who died in the ER begging for help?

7. there is a link to that story on moore's website--my guess is he
would have included the story in the movie if he could have. it is just such a shocking, horrible story--and it speaks volumes.

8. Will you ever do a movie on Election Fraud and Stolen elections?
I think Moore's take on these related subjects might be the most eye-opening of anyone's. I'd lover to see it.

My other "dream topic" for Mikey: The DLC and their collusion with K-Street, Corporations, and even The GOP to take over this Party. I just don't think he'll ever go there. :(

11. I've occasionally wondered after watching Farenheit 9/11
what his opinion is of alleged govt complicity regarding 9/11. There was a scene in F911 in which he was having a conversation w/John Conyers regarding implementation of The Patriot Act & he made a comment I viewed to be a fairly transparent reference to that effect. Perhaps, I could have misinterpreted, just wondering.

12. will you, in a future release of F9/11, show all 7 minutes of the president
sitting in the classroom after here was informed -- for public consumption -- about the 9/11 attacks? Don't edit it and show a clock. Show all 7 minutes.

16. Yeah
Does he remember about five years ago when I emailed him from Takebackthemedia.com and suggested that he make a film about the Booker Elementary School footage and how Bush just sat there? (Not kidding) :)

Also, during the crush of the crowd after he gave a speech backing Clark in New Hampshire during the run up to the Presidential race in a gymnasium, why did he tell me, "YOU'RE the GUY!" while everyone stood back, and then take my card and never CALL?

(Actually, interesting story there: I saw him shuffling, so surrounded by press at the Primaries that he could NOT WALK - so I pushed my way into the clot of reporters and asked him about the Clark "You're the Guy!" statement to me, and what did he mean by that, etc.. Everyone froze and Michael said, "I dunno, must have been on drugs that day.." I figured that I'd RUINED the guy, all those cameras were on him, I thought they'd take that ONE CLIP and shoot it all over the NEWS to Trash him.. ran away laughing, luckily they didn't use it, and it's all cool now..)

Don't believe me?

Here's the pic, Me and Moore - I gathered some moss from his North side, he's a Mountain of a Man :)

I would bet that in the course of his investigations he's run across the cabal that changed the course of our democracy with JFK's assasination. I would love to hear his thoughts on who's REALLY behind the scenes.

26. I would ask him to do an expose
on who benefits from the anti-abortion movement, where is the money trail and who are the biggest winners and how.

or

on how housing costs on the Pacific coast have sky rocketed, who are the biggest winners and how.

or

on the rise of right wing fascism in the US.

or

on the PNAC manifesto and how it has been implemented, who are the biggest winners and how.

28. I'd ask about his creative process
And how he approaches storytelling - what inspires him from the get go on a project and how does he sift through information and visuals to decide what's most interesting to include in the film's script. I think fresh and insightful documentary filmmaking is deceptively difficult to pull off and he often does it brilliantly.

32. First I'd tell him he looks great and to "keep up the good work"!
http://www.antara.co.id/en/arc/2007/6/5/movie-makes-michael-moore-slim/

Controversial documentary filmmaker Michael Moore is implementing the message of his latest movie Sicko and gone on a radical fitness scheme. The movie takes a critical look at the American health care system and the stoutly-figured Moore, 53, said it inspired him to take care of his own health.

Now he takes daily runs and eats whole-grain foods and vegetables.

The result is a weight drop of over 13 kilos and lower cholesterol and blood pressure.

Moore also attributes his weight loss to getting more sleep, according to the New York Post.
