Rove's Protege-Griffin: Cries In Public & Says Public Service "Not Worth It"
Former U.S. Attorney Griffin Gives Emotional Address at Clinton School
Thursday June 14, 2007 2:49pm

Little Rock (AP) - Former interim U.S. Attorney Tim Griffin tearily announced Thursday that public service is, "not worth it."

Griffin was named to replace Bud Cummins after Cummins was fired by the Bush administration along with seven other U.S. Attorneys.

Griffin addressed a lunchtime audience at the Clinton School of Public service Thursday, sometimes crying as he said he had no plans to return to politics. The Justice Department has drawn strident criticism from Democrats and Republicans for appointing Griffin and other replacement prosecutors without Senate hearings and is accused of inserting political partisans in those jobs.

Griffin is a protege of White House adviser Karl Rove.

He wants to open a 'bipartisan law practice'?
What does he mean by that? Republican and More Republican?

Also be sure to vote on the gay adoption poll on that page.

12. boo f-ing hoo timmy boy. If Mr Griffin hadn't disenfranchised Af Ams including those serving
overseas in the military, there would be many children, wives, mothers and fathers with their loved ones still alive. These despicable creatures all have blood on their hands in my opinion.

17. He should be crying in prison. It's because of him, at least thousands weren't able to cast their
votes.

There was talk that Fred Thompson was going to hire him. Maybe Mr. Thompson was made aware of the webs that Griffin weaved and wanted to keep far away from him.

No wonder the only thing these Gonzo appointed USAs are told to do is promote other GOPers. Cannot trust them to do much of anything else.

24. what does the CFTBL have to say about this five day old quote?
“I can tell you I’ve had discussions with my good friend Tim Griffin,” Thompson’s spokesman Mark Corallo told me.

Corallo also made clear that the Thompson campaign was not fazed by allegations implicating Griffin in so-called “caging” operations to disqualify black voters or by charges that Griffin inflated his résumé as a prosecutor.......

.....Despite Griffin’s baggage, Thompson is reportedly considering giving Griffin an important job on the campaign. When I asked what role Griffin might play in the campaign, spokesman Corallo answered, “that’s something that’s still under discussion.”

http://www.consortiumnews.com/2007/060907b.html

so does this latest mean that CFTBL has already dropped him? will he brought to task for ever considering him?

28. Boo-Hoo..cry me a river..
Public service, defined as crony appointments has a way of backfiring. TRUE public service is its own reward. If one expects to make money and gain power from public service, they are doing it for the wrong reasons, and deserve all the rebukes they recieve.
