Anyone listening to Brian Lamb read this article about what legislators are worth?
I didn't catch where it was from and a google hasn't turned up an article yet for me. Anyway, it is an eye opener. You want to know why our legislators don't legislate to our concerns out here, people? They don't have the same concerns as most of us do. My lord, we have now entrenched a body of elitists and multi-millionaires.

4. The subtext seemed to be that Bill Clinton makes too much money.
It sounded like a way to take a swipe at Senator Clinton.

5. And how is this 'news'? Since the TV ad mentality came into being, that's been true.
The Congress now has to devote much of its time to raising money to pay for campaigns or having personal wealth to do it. And the 'sound bite' is what we have for reasoned debate.
