Now You Can Text "IMPEACH" to 30644 To Vote To Impeach Cheney

There are now more than 66,000 votes cast in the National Cheney Impeachment Poll, with 99.35 percent voting "Yes", he should be impeached. And now Maxine Waters has joined as cosponsor of H.Res. 333, the Dennis Kucinich proposed articles to impeach Cheney first. We are definitely approaching our first major tipping point in public political consciousness on this issue.

And if all that were not exciting enough, people can now vote instantly to impeach Cheney by cell phone.

CALL PROGRESSIVE RADIO SHOWS TO PUBLICIZE THE CELL PHONE VOTING TEXT NUMBER AND THE KEY WORDS

What we are asking concerned citizens to do next is start calling the various progressive radio shows and let them know that people can vote Yes in the National Cheney Impeachment Poll by texting the key word "IMPEACH" to 30644. This should work on any cell phone in the country, and is PERFECT for promoting this action at any live event, but on the radio on particular.

We recognize that some of our progressive radio personalities may want to give people a voting OPTION, and may not be ready to advocate aggressively for impeachment themselves until we push them some more. In such cases you can let them know that if people want to vote No in the poll they can text the word "KEEP" the same number, 30644. We want to encourage them to give out the cell phone "text to" number every time the subject of impeachment comes up, as it will more and more.

We have NOTHING to fear from No votes. Understand that there aren't going to BE a lot of votes to keep Cheney. We have seen 99.35 percent votes Yes to impeach so far from the action page with both options freely and fairly available.

By giving radio hosts both options we empower them to be able to ask their listeners what they think. Isn't that what talk radio is all about, asking people to talk about their positions on the issues, whatever they are? If that happens on impeachment, to just get people to talk about it, we win. We might even be able to get a competition atmosphere going, in which case we will do nothing but win.

We clearly understand the impeachment movement must come from the people themselves, we the people. The courts will not act in time to save our country from the final disaster planned by Cheney and his neocon ideologues. Congress will not act UNLESS we speak out in mass numbers, and the cosponsors we have for H.Res. 333 we have because you ARE speaking out.

And always remember, it matters not what any propaganda pundit says on cable TV. What matters is what you and your fellow citizens say. And if we ALL say the Constitution must be respected and enforced, it surely will be, and swiftly.
