2. Pretty acurate
I'd say that's pretty accurate, although it's also very general and there are minor changes from culture to culture (Afghani's and Iraq's do not follow all the same rules). When I was in Afghanistan we were told NOT to turn down offers of refreshment because it was considered rude.

They should add not showing the soles of your feet (or footware) to the Don't section. That's a big deal. Putting your feet up on a chair or table in America is often considered impolite (although I do it at my desk all the time). Doing it in Afghanistan or Iraq is a really bad idea.
