11. I've got a really silly question about DVRs. What if the Daytime Emmys run long

will the DVR wait to record the Letterman show or do they work like VCRs and start recording regardless of when the show actually starts?

12. Depends on the service the DVR depends on...

and when it is updated, as needed. Schedules on most services, satellite and cable, aren't completely accurate, and only update themselves once a day, if that. So if the Emmys are a little long, it will start recording whenever the show is scheduled to come on.

P.S. about the service :eyes: it sucks. I had to schedule for a maintenance call next week. My internet goes down for up to four hours a day and one of my cable boxes turns itself on and off several times a day.
