1. I'm in the Atlanta metro area.
And it is being covered at least once a day by the radio and TV stations.

2. checking in and glad,on the one hand, to see the publicity this case
is getting...sad, on the other, that we have to talk about something like this. I am ashamed of our governance here in GA from time to time, but this whole thing makes me want to hurl. Poor guy simply did what many MANY men have done at his age...accept the affections of a younger girl. He just got caught. The irony of it is, under GA law, if he had just had intercourse with her the charges would have been less.

Chris Crock(sp?), a local radio personality on AM750 in the late evening, has been really riled up on this one!

4. I sent an email to Gov. Perdue on Wed. explaining that HE was this
DA's boss, and he should call him and tell him to back off!

It really is the fault of the Legislature because they didn't write a grandfather clause into the law, but Sonny can fix it for this guy.
