According to NPR, "Hamas has taken control of the Gaza Strip, and weary Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has declared a state of emergencyand disbanded the Hamas-led unity government. But so far there's been relatively little activity or violence, perhaps because Hamas is granting amnesty to Fatah leaders — a signal that it seeks conciliation with the defeated forces allied with the moderate president."

He was supposed to be a Christmas present for my mother-in-law. The night before we got him, we went out to buy supplies for him because he would be with us for about two weeks. I got all excited buying the stuff and told Mr. smokey that I wasn't sure if I'd be able to give him up. When his foster mom brought him the next day, I saw how damned cute he was and he was ours. We went out and got something else for Mr. smokey's mom.

It's really warmed up here on the east coast!! It's now 53 degree's F!! :sarcasm: :rofl:

So much warmer, in fact, I went out and bought some summer PJ's!!! :woohoo:
I just got back from the sale. I got a lime green top, 2 white tops, a black hippie-style body
cover and and white & aquamarine cotton bottoms. The lime green wasn't my first choice but
that was all they had left from the sale. :P $4.95 per piece at Targette' !! ;) (Target)
I haven't shopped there in at least 5 years. I only spent about $40.00 and I got 7 pieces of clothing!

but he's doing a 'time-out' now in his kitty apartment (the middle bathroom). He needs to settle down and sleep ... for his own good ... or my own good .. or something. I'm tired ... a big group of us went to see Shrek 3 today, and it was good; but, I entertained my sister and my niece all day (Beloved Daughter was there too), and I'm enjoying the quiet now.

Dex plays all day long now with the other 3. Sometimes, I think he gets his older kitty 'siblings' in trouble on purpose by meowing, like they are being too rough. He seems to like getting them lectured. Man, a kitty can play for hours and hours. But he needs some sleep ... or I need some sleep ... or all of us need some sleep!

It was weird: I sent an email to Nova M about Radio ONE selling some stations in OH & KY.
I cc'd [e-mail] expecting nothing. Then, a few days later, I get a call from a woman
who asks me, "Can you take Sheldon Drobny's phone call?"
WHHHAAAAT? :wow:
I figured I'd get a shiny brochure and a form letter! WHOA!

So I arranged to take the call later in the afternoon and talked with Shelly for about 20 min.

This is in relation to the Drobny commercial on KPHX for investing, and, I gotta tell ya,
IT LOOKS GOOD! :toast: :toast:

I'm doing my homework right now, but if you think the stock market looks WAY over-valued
and you don't trust Ben Bernanke at The Fed, THIS MAY BE the way to go to get out of traditional equities.
