Edited on Sat Jun-16-07 06:39 PM by KoKo01
I at least am getting some "discussion" and even though I've never watched them...it's FUN to watch the LEFTIES EAT THEIR OWN!

I highly recommend that for those, like me, who've never watched Faux to hit them. Roger Ailes always knew his market. As CNN and MSNBC work to capture the Fox Audience...he moves Fox to the "left" by some inches" to try to get the "channel surfers" who've given up hearing Mainstream or Progressive news on CNN/MSNBC so he moves them a few inches towards a middle.

It was better than what I've seen on CNN/MSNBC..Bigger group of RW folks on the Discussion Panel and "nuance."

Go F**k yourself "MAINSTREAM MEDIA"

2. I have Fox blocked on my tv.
There are some things I will not abide in my household and Fox News is one of them.

9. Ditto
The first thing I did when I got digital cable was lock out Fox News. I don't even want to see that sewer by accident.

13. You mean all the Sex Crimes/Violence/Child Molester Videos they run OVER AND OVER AND OVER
on the Weekends. Yeah...it gets to be too much. But, they seem to feel they have a GOOD AUDIENCE ratings wise with that stuff. After all..Oprah has done it for years and maybe folks really do worry about these people killing them and their children and relatives..

16. Yep...I have relative who goes to visit in-laws and she says they don't Talk to Each Other
They just have Faux on ALL DAY and she has to go out in the backyard to read a book to get away from it...and she says they come out and get her because FAUX has some GOOD STUFF and she needs to get "her nose out of that book to listen to it."

She hates to visit these folks but she has to. I don't know what's happened to American Families that they thin that the TEE VEE is what you do when you VISIT! AND...that it should always be tuned to JUST ONE CHANNEL...as if their relatives will think it's like having made a HUGE DESSERT that EVERYONE WANTS TO EAT...because it's soooooo.......TEMPTING.

Fox and the RIGHT WING is splitting Southern Families who always depended on FOOD as the UNITER...and those all over America who have to visit relatives and suffer the TEE VEE on 24/7 on FOX when they've Braved the AIRLINES with Homeland Security sniffing their undies and diapers of their BABIES...throwing away toothpaste and makeup to GET THERE! They arrive after THAT ORDEAL and are FORCED TO WATCH FOX or NN/MSNBC as ENTERTAINMENT! My GOD...what has America become..?

10. MSM is gone in my view
MSM including FOX is useless in my view. They are all just propaganda engines. Anything you read or watch you have to research yourself to actually get a decent view of the real issue. I regret that real investigative journalism or reporting is gone, gone, gone.

17. I don't get it.
Did someone force you to watch FOX NEWS?

Have you contacted the authorities?

There's a great hamburber joint in Mt. Pleasant, TX that many of my friends refuse to visit because FOX is always on the dining room TV. They're missing a great burger. Morons don't hurt my appetite.

Shout out to Randy's Burgers.

and then i grew up and started spending my time better. it was a difficult transition at first, i assure you.

y'know, if you need idle entertainment there's always music or movies. or use the tv guide to selectively choose enriching programs from intl. channels, public broadcasting, or CSPAN.
but then emotional masturbation has always been a tempting recreational pastime. you can see its popularity even on message boards, such as DU...

24. There is in fact *one* good program on Fox Noise.
It's called Fox News Watch and it is on Saturday at 6:30 PM ET. The discussion is fast, balanced, funny, and extremely smart. It's a solid half hour of media analysis that puts everything else on the Noise to shame.

Other than that one show, I never switch to Fox.

26. Fox has more live news on the weekends than Cnn or MSNBC
I find myself forced to go watch them sometimes just to get breaking news, etc. It's frustrating. Why don't CNN & MSNBC at least try to compete with real news instead of those God-awful canned documentaries?

27. You mean you did not set your alarm to watch Doc-Bloc (aka prisons we know and love)?
and you were tired of watching the re-re-re-re-run of CNN's "documentary 'o the day?

What really annoying to me is that I used to actually go to "Headline News" occasionally to catch up on what I may have missed, but now we cannot even do that.. It's Glenn beck or some lipglossed Barbie cracking jokes with her cohort..:puke:

"news" only happens M-F and during prime-time..:(
